[Donation] ideas

One thing that's wonderful is the opportunity to get a donation rank status to get permanent perks, but it would be nice to donate for temporary repeatable things as well. They don't have to be big and costly, it would actually be better if it was for very little cost and is something simple that the players can get and feel like they helped out.

Such things could include:
-moving a building somewhere else on the map
-rare blocks
-xp bonus modifier for X amount of time
-protection for rp events (make sure there arent any wedding crashers for an rp wedding, etc)
-personal stationary portal (could set a permanent location for the portal to send players)
-recruit a friend (get a friend whitelisted instantly - not guaranteed they wont be banned instantly if they're idiots)


While temporary bonuses are a great way to keep moneyflow comming to keep the server alive, lets not forget that perks are awesome.

-toggle icon in dynamic map
-toggleable name change to confuse people
-character upgrades (profession and a half? lvl 50engineer/25mason)
-class quick swap (be able to toggle back and forth between 2 defined classes for free with a cooldown, all other class swaps cost 500c)

its 6:30 am and im running out of ideas... but just trying to make ideas to help the server out :3

I'm going to have to say no to everything. Too cash-shoppy I think, especially if you can straigh-out purchase tradable items. Players would feel motivated to be buying these perks and the 'pay-to-win' argument would ensue. I think the donation tiers are fine as they are; adding temporary bonuses are unnedded and dangerous.

This could be a good idea, but its hard to think of small perks that wouldnt give the player an advantage. Rare blocks would, and rare blocks would also reduce the usage of alchemists. I think a portal would give to much of an advantage. The only one on the list I could see working would be the building moving one. Someone thinking about moving their castle? ;)

I agree with Steamed, the moving of a building wouldnt be that unbalancing. The rest would be horribly unbalancing however, so no go.
