Your story:i had been mining for about 40 minutes with no other complaints from admins, and i never ever used xray before ,and so i was building a staircase back up to the ground and i was trying friends mining theory. you can check i had f3 up checking floors and i started mining and i found coal ,and which why would an xray go for coal i already had two stacks of it in inventory from mining, then i start again on staircase and went back to the place to were i was starting to build a passage. then went back to staircase were and admin Neo spawned to me and argued that i xrayed some coal then i was banned. honestly Ive been on the server for a month haven't had any kicks or bans before or on any other server before and i really love this server its a great place and i have good friends ,and a good town so i really want to become unbanned again thanx to whoever reads this.

The point were i found the gold was an attempt to make spiral stair case up. because i wasn't getting any good minerals and didn't even see the gold at first plus whatever you were using probably didn't show all the other ores around that i couldve took-en. then i found gold decided to continue for a little longer after since i found a decent ore. but then i started a regular stair case back up to the ground level during which each time i turned around i was checking floor lvls then i checked again then had missed my floor and quickly made up for mistake

by going back down then I noticed the coal and dug it up after that i started back on stairs up then after that went back to work on that passage then stairs and was about to go work on passage again when u came and banned me through i respect your judgment and see why you think it mightve been xray though i swear it was not plus what about the other 20 mins while i was digging did you suspect i had any xraying then?

i never used f3 to see through walls im pretty sure you cant use f3 to see through anything
so im not sure what you mean.

i was simply looking for any animals using f3 to see how close to the surface i was that's why i was 360ing so i could see behind me better view for a mob.

I have reviewed the video log evidence and i didn't 360 every block at all. The first couple times i 360 was for checking for mobs in any cavern or cave systems or an mob spawner ,you could see i was doing that as my head was tilted downward more then. After about 5 or 6 blocks later i did a more prelonged 360 looking for mobs on the surface to see how close i was to it ,and you could tell i was doing that because my head was tilted up the whole time.

Though being banned for hacking would result in perm ban, though seeming to hack and being first offense would be in a temp ban right?

Because caves and caves systems usually have valuable or ores to mine, and a mob spawner would be a valuable resource to gain exp from privately and mobs tend to spawn in those areas. when f3 is turned on you are able to see numbers over the mobs heads showing there location, and can be seen through that way farther than you could hear them so it is possible to see mobs with out hacking.

1. I gave up asking why someone would hack to get something a long time ago, back in alpha I banned someone for hacking to get coal ore block which has no use.
2. if you used f3 a lot to see through walls, doesn't that sound a lot like xraying? So why should I consider it abusing something like that any different than xraying.

I miss read the first post about f3,though you meant to see mobs not current level

It is legal to use f3 to determine your height. but even if you were just checking height, why did you check every block you went up and then make a complete 360 looking around.

There is absolutely no reason why you would need to look every time you went up one block unless you were xraying to and looking for ore close enough to you.

also, about it possibly being f3 abuse

Any kind of exploit within normal minecraft code or outside of minecraft that gives the appearance of using an illegal mod is illegal as well.

I watched the video. There were no sounds other than you digging, no indication of monsters to even warrant the use of F3.

I have reviewed the evidence countless times. You were able to find unexposed ore without any effort. You originally skipped it because it was just coal so you kept going upward looking for more ore. when you didn't find it you went directly to the coal through a wall. There is absolutely no reason you should have been repeatedly looking around like you did in an unlit cave. Also, there were 0 mobs anywhere near so there is no way that any of your odd mining patterns were to mine towards mobs and even so, using f6 to find caves and spawners is an exploit. This has gone on way to long, your repeal has been denied.
