Welcome to Demonswood
Owned by Raienbow_Dash

Managed by Zaravin, Rida_, Ruger392, Nekokunai, Piptendo

General Information:

Demonswood is a lawful good town located near the -1500 -1500 Hero Gate. Founded by ShadowRavynn, it has since come under the control of Raienbow_Dash, and is experiencing a time of relative prosperity and growth. Constructed block by block in the middle of a vast ocean, the town is truly an architectural marvel.

Features:

Consisting of three levels (Lesser Demonswood, Old Demonswood, and The Towers), the town is fully subregioned and protected from outside intruders. A central lift station and an airlock system have been implemented to ensure safety and ease of access to all three levels.

The Purge:

Our greatest defense against unwanted guests, The Purge does exactly as advertised with the flip of a single switch. Security doors located at the ends of the viewing hallways will slam shut, preventing access to outsiders. If one were unlucky enough to be in the hallway when the security doors closed, they would suffer a fiery death. There is enough time to recall or port before being incinerated, and this is on purpose. Do not think of us as unmerciful.

The Farm:

Contains everything a farmer could ever need, with secure enclosures for animals. The massive sugar cane farm is also a great way for new players to max out their crafter profession, while simultaneously helping the town. Located at the ends of each row of sugarcane are chests to deposit the crops collected. Beneath these chests are a series of hoppers that deliver the crops to Auschwitz to be turned into paper for villager trade.

Auschwitz Flea Market: (Under Construction)

Pronounced “Aw Schweets” and not to be confused with any German Nazi concentration camps, Auschwitz Flea Market is where the majority of Demonswood’s wealth is generated. Housing over twenty fair-trade villagers, Auschwitz is a good place to pick up great deals on fortune picks and enchanted armours.

The Demonswood Central Rail Station:

As Demonswood is a center for commerce, it was necessary to construct an elaborate series of railways connecting the town to allied townships and Hero Gates. The railway is public use; we just ask that you please respect the no griefing rules set down by the server.

Lesser Demonswood:

The ground floor of Demonswood, Lesser Demonswood is where Lost Souls will find their housing. Town rules and information is posted plainly to see in an attempt to better educate new players. Each Lost Soul is entitled their own subregioned room in the Lost Soul Manor. There is no rent or taxes - all that is asked is tenants level their classes and professions to aid the town.

Soul Exchange:

Located in Lesser Demonswood, the Soul Exchange is a convenient way to trade in soul shards and fragments more quickly than traveling to Spawn. A .07 tax is taken out per soul (as compared to other town’s .1 soul tax), but this helps keep the town free to live in, as all profit is funneled back into Town projects and upgrades.

Old Demonswood:

15X15X15 fully protected and subregioned plots located at the very bottom of Demonswood – this is where those with classes and professions are allowed to live. There are 24 plots total, and housing is at a premium. The Demonswood Station is also located down here.

Guild Halls: (Currently in progress)

Players are encouraged to team up with other residents to form parties dedicated to helping the town. Guilds are given an initiation quest and if they succeed, they are given a large subregioned plot with which to construct their guild hall. Guilds are given tiers, and with each tier comes greater benefits. The next tier can be reached a number of ways, including resource gathering, aiding new town members, defending the town from attackers, or helping with construction.

The Towers: (Off Limits at this time)

Large, menacing towers perched high above Demonswood where town managers will call their home. Guilds may work toward purchasing a tower for their own use.

Town Rules:
-We do not condone the killing/hunting/ganking/exploitation of Lost Souls/Low Levels. We are here to be a refuge for them and to promote people to continue playing on the server.

-Theft may not be bannable, but we will not tolerate it. If you are caught in another resident’s home/room without permission, or going through their belongings, you will be warned only once. A second offense, or confirmation of theft will result in exile and a continuous bounty for your head.

-Close all airlocks.

-If you see raiders or are killed by them, immediately report it in the Town Chat Channel.

-Assume everyone is an enemy. If their name isn’t green, they mean you and the town harm.

-Participate in Team Speak. Ask for the password in game, but NEVER give out this password.

-Server rules require you to notify a town manager if you are leaving town. Failure to report this followed by griefing/theft/raiding is bannable.

-Do not disobey or question management.

-If we are being raided, stay inside and avoid provoking the raiders. They are here because they are incapable of building anything and only bought Minecraft because their friends made them, so now they treat it like Call of Duty and just camp and kill.

-If you are killed, remain at the Grave Yard until a manager or available wizard can port you safely into town. Do not feed them easy kills. It only inflates their egos, and they don’t need that.

-During raids, coordinate with other members to defend the town rather than running out blindly in an attempt to get your lost items.

I feel as if that raiding part is aimed at me.
