Hello, everybody. With this thread, I will have reached 1000 posts on the forums. With this in mind, I have a few (maybe a lot?) of people I'd like to thank for not only allowing me to grow in this community, but to have a great time in doing so.

I'll start from the beginning.

It was late October of 2011 (Late Zeal) when I was finally whitelisted. I had checked all of the wiki pages on the kingdoms in the server, heroes itself, and knew I wanted to be a beastmaster. On my first day, I wandered the landscape, making petty hovels and just trying to survive. A week or so had passed, and I inquired about Ironpass to @Malphagus. He recruited me, and I quickly set up shop (jmoney222, I thought it was so cool that you liked my house and wrote about it on a sign in front - I really appreciated it!) in the Rogue's Quarter, which would today be known as the Undercity. In joining Ironpass, I met strongholdx as well, but mainly kept to myself - leveling to 28 rogue before the map wipe.

In Dragon's launch, I followed a similar noob-ish path that I had in Zeal. I was still a young member to the community, wandering around and doing hit and runs on other developing members. I asked if anyone was recruiting in /ch re, and lo and behold I was messaged by wolfboy494, who asked if I was interested in Altum. I just want to thank you so much for this, because joining Altum and getting involved with the subcommunity there that would become the LO would later become everything for me on this server. If this hadn't happened, I would be an entirely different figure on the server than I am today. Anyways... In Altum, teddytazer and 0xThoth were very helpful in getting me started.

In mid-Dragon, I made another decision that would shape the rest of my Herocraft span. A fight in Altum had broken out between BananaFuton and other members, several decided to secede and forge Solitude. Started by dear Farroes, who I can't thank enough for being such an inspirational leader in the community, I joined the Solitude bandwagon at the behest of whiteninja1970 and ColbyHep. In Solitude, I grew and started to make a name for myself. Darroes was also especially kind, and when work started on Oblivion, I knew I would make it my new home. Working on the walls of Oblivion with Farroes, I was informed that I would be chosen as SiC of Oblivion. I took this with great honor, and accepted. Late March 2012 I became a co-SiC with oo00lost00oo (Where'd you go, bud? :( ) and Oblivion continued to develop.

Late in the Spring, Farroes was banned for abusing the casino (curse you Jonjur), and Lost was nowhere to be found. I assumed leadership of the town, and gave a speech to several community members on the day when we thought Oblivion was doomed (Keache - thanks for being there on my side that day). I continued to rule Oblivion for the rest of the map, with kevinlive as SiC and Jonsoon as Dawnstar's mayor. I was the king of the so dubbed Legion of Oblivion. I pushed for the fabled [Slayer], the infamous 100 kill streak title. This was the worst and best experience of my time on the server, I experienced the worst the server had to after (including several betrayals by Barn, Azen, and others - people I thought I was friends with), but I also experienced the best. My close allies of the LO stood steadfast to protect me from the constant verbal abuse and harassment. For that, I can never repay any of you (I'm running out of tags, but you know who you are - Orange, North, Burg, rfg, Aryios, ckero, MrAwesome, Pew, bingy etc). Anyways... I continued to be the king until the end of the map, at which point the LO assumed dominance over server PvP for the most part (or, it seemed, all PvP happened at the LO - Solitude bridge battles remember TC!).

In Bastion, I can't really say I'm the same person I was in previous maps. I'm no longer the noob I was in Zeal or Early Dragon (contrary to what many of you think ;) ), nor am I the bloodthirsty tyrant that I was in mid-late Dragon. I have strived to be good this map, helping new players whenever possible, and bringing the experience that I had throughout my entire experiences to others, so people have that same opportunity that I had. Verstad is a reflection of this, a town welcoming of players from all walks. I think I will pursue this path from now on.

For staff, thank you so much Neotetro, Lastivity, Danda, and finally Kainzo for making this experience possible.

Verstad's the best-looking town on the map when there aren't pillars up the walls...
