Time of ban: sometime from 9am-8pm EST (I was at work)
Reason for ban: Botting to level
Your story:

I can not give full details to what I was doing that got banned for, because I was told by admin not to say anything about it to people that play HC that do not know about it. I can tell any staff that ask what it is, and I send you a PM.

I am not sure what you call a "bot" or how you define it, but when I asked an admin about it he said it was a Macro, and that it what every app and developer calls it. admin said that Macros are ok to use. I asked this over (almost) 2 months ago. an admin all so said that doing __________________ was ok if we had it hidden and did not tell people about it.

I have never used ___________ to Level my self, as I was level 50 mason and have not respeced before i learned how and what _________ was.

I did not find a rule on using Macros, as to why I asked a admin about it, and also about ______. And the admin told me i could use the Macro and ______, as long as i did not use it to Level my self, __________, or ____________.

if there is a rules against Macros or ________. it that is not legal then i will stop now and not do it. and if you would explain what thing i did that was ilegal or what parts are/are not legal.

Edit Seratt: its a Macro made and used in the Razer Naga Mouse driver, that Razer put out for it, it also is for my /cast recall and /cast mark and if i was a PVP class it would be used for other skills as well, and i have had many admin/mods say Macros are ok to use.

The use of anything to give you advantage over another player can be considered exploiting - if you are unsure, make double sure the rules are clear for it.

If it's fine, I was going to go ahead and unban him. There was a small misunderstanding to be honest, although, common sense should have come into play for this one; still, I know him personally and know he's legit otherwise. I spoke with him in TeamSpeak for quite some time last night and all is well.

Also, our new ToS is up and I'd love to put some more work into the Wiki so there are no "gray areas." You're either breaking rules or you're not.

To my understanding, he only used some Obsidian for the Town Vault; not much at all.

It actually wasn't so much false information as it was a misunderstanding, but yes, I'll be looking forward to the Wiki updates.
