I've just seen many different games do this to keep people coming back and keep the server populated! Idk how much trouble it would be but you could have different tiers of rewards if people com back every day for a week, 2 weeks, and a month!

should be if you play for like a half hour not rewarded on log in

Yeah like you have to play for a certain amount of time then you get the reward
