This account was given to me by my older cousin, I've never griefed anything in my life.
Is there some way I can prove that it wasn't me or put me on some sort of zero-tolerance probation system?

Edit: I have also since changed the password, I'm positive I'm the only one with access or ever will have access to this account.

Does not explain the hacked client ban. You claim it is your cousin that picked up the ban, but that is something I hear all the time, your account your ban in this instance.

So please explain your hacked client ban thanks!

Sorry, but I can't explain it since I've said it wasn't me playing.
If that's something you honestly need to know, I guess I can't play since it wasn't me who did it, unless you want me to justify the actions of another player, which in that case, I can't do.
All I want to do is play with a few friends.
Edit: Could you please explain where you're coming from with this? From these dates, they were 5 months ago, in which to my knowledge, nobody's played on this account until yesterday.

The issue is you have bans attached to that account and I do not know if they are yours. This is why you should not share accounts or get accounts from friends. You never know what the history is behind it.

So again, not knowing who received those bans, they are your responsibility as you claim to own the account, and frankly I do not have proof one way or the other who the bans belong to, only your word and I do not see you posting anything in your application to say that the account originally belonged to someone else. So why not mention it in the application that the account was not initially yours?

Yeah, I understand.
I guess I just didn't think it was needed since I didn't really have a way of associating this account with any griefing or hacked clients or whatever other stupid things my cousin got into.
It's kind of like someone giving you a car, only to figure out it was involved in a hit-and-run so you can't leave the country with it or something.
I'm sorry if it seems like I'm hiding something or I'm lying about how I got this account but if there was a way to prove myself, trust me, I would, I know as well as anyone that words are meaningless.
Is there no compromise we could make, like I said, some sort of no-tolerance rule?
I've said it before, I've just got this account and two of my friends invited me to play with them, that's all I'm interested in.
I do thank you in advance, whether I get accepted or not, for letting my argue my case instead of denying me straight away.

Although I am not sure if I truly believe it was your cousin who picked up that ban, but based on the age of it ((It is almost 6 months old)), I am going to go ahead and give you the chance on the server. We do not allow hacked clients, obviously so do not even think about it.

Make sure you are familiar with our rules, because ignorance is not a defence in a ban appeal. Welcome to Herocraft
