Hey there
I love the BM's minions, but one thing that keeps disturbing me is the fact that we lack control over them.
For example:
I encounter two mobs at the same time (let's say a skeleton and a zombie). Now I'd like my wolf to attack the skeleton, whereas I can attack the zombie, because the zombie damages my wolf on contact and the skeleton doesn't (and my wolf can easily handle a skeleton). Unfortunatly my wolf starts attacking the same mob that I do and thus dies quite frequently.
Another thing I've noticed is that if you tell your wolf to sit down, because you want to attack a mob without your wolf attacking, he'll attack as soon as I take damage.
I do appreciate the support he provides me in a fight with mobs, but I'd love to have a bit more control over him attacking or patiently waiting.
So I suggest implementing two new "functions":
- Aggro/Non - aggro: Toggle support on/off (Getting involved in a fight/Teleporting to BM when BM engaged in a fight, when the wolf was sitting before/etc.). The Wolf would still stay at your side (or sit somewhere), but wouldn't engage in the fight, until you toggle aggro on again.
- "Choose target": BMs would get the abbilty to let the wolf attack a mob/player without actually getting involved in the fight, resp. sending the wolf into a fight with another mob/player than the BM is.
Since these are no real fighting-skills, it wouldn't mess the balance up in any way, yet it would provide the BM-Class with more control over their attacks.
Thanks

Edit: General PVP would apply to wolves as well (see Kriskills's post)
