Constant crashing problem

[Enphynity]

Whenever I am playing SSP or SMP, after about 5-10 mins my screen will go black and the game crashes. It's happened with just a texture pack installed (doesn't matter which one) and no mods, or with mods installed as well. I have the latest version of java and the newest drivers for my vid card.

I was wondering if anyone else had or is having the same problem because it is quite annoying and I would love to get it fixed.

First the quick fix is if your using far distance rendering change to normal, crashing reduced to once or twice a day. For me personally to fix the problem i had to install 64bit java as i had 32bit and my system was 64 bit windows 7. This fixed the problem for me completely. Haven't crashed since.
