i somewhat agree Melonmancer and some of its skills seem a little to silly compared to the other class's in the game kinda feels like more of a parody class.

That was it's intentions.
Kainzo proposed a class that would break from the serious hardcore RPG and be more comedic.

Since it was talked about(even though it was most likely a joke) I decided it was my duty, to give it life in form.
