That would mean 48 other players to pvp against, and a competitive pvp scene. For someone who boasts about their pvp skills on a regular basis, I would figure you would grasp the concept.

Not that I don't understand, I just don't see why you are basically inactive until the release of titles. I mean, you can't obtain those titles if you can't fight effectively anymore.

  • Still trying to focus on moving in the direction of a RPG
  • Will be making a move to Spout Server (aka Vanilla) in the future
    • This will not require people to use Spout Client
    • This should vastly increase performance
    • Will require a complete re-code of all of our plugins
  • Plans for new servers
    • Feed The Beast
    • Creative (Already up)
    • The Walls - with Heroes Elements
  • Plans to create our own Game using Spout Engine (Much futher down the road)
  • Custom Generation whitelist only map will be introduced in the future
  • More stuff in the store
    • Our Goal is to never allow "pay 2 win"
Karma
  • Karma System is still in Planning
    • Andrew2060 is building the framework
    • We should have a basic playable version "soon"
  • Crimes will result in harsh penalties
  • Modifiers for Good/Evil acts are not set in stone yet
  • This System is being implemented to bring better balance to the server
    • Currently there are no benefits to not killing someone causing everyone to commit evil acts without reprocussion
  • Possibility of enabling PvP in spawn and having guards protecting the players
  • Upon being murdered a player has the option to /indict someone causing them to lose Karma
    • Evil players will not have the ability to /indict
  • Player's current Karma status will be shown by colouring their nameplate above their head
    • Evil being a Red name
    • Good being a Blue name
  • Design Doc will be reposted in the future once we have worked out some details
  • Possible to tie skills into Karma but is not planned yet
DHX
  • DHX Will be around but at a very reduced rate
    • Players will be running the economy via the banker profession
    • DHX will buy at 4-5c
    • Bankers will be able to use /skill monetize to convert gold to coins
Balance
  • New projectile skills in the works
Herocraft Client
  • It is optional and is not required to connect
  • Custom blocks/items are not possible due to us still allowing vanilla clients
    • Should be possible when we move to spout server though (if we force spout client)
  • The client will contain
    • Party Frames
    • Mana Bar
    • Floating Damage/Heal/EXP numbers
    • Buff Bar
    • Target Frames
    • Keybinds
Arenas
  • Merge all skirmish and arenas together into a simplified /arena command
  • Working on a /duel command to use instead of /col duel
  • Mob Arenas will not be re-introduced
    • Dungeons are in the works
      • Dungeons are problematic due to Heroes modifying damage
      • This means customized mobs are not possible without specially built plugins
Heralds
  • A Senior Herald is being looked into to take lead of the Herald Team
  • Heralds will be trying to produce more videos, contests, pod casts and other content
  • A Heralds job is to spread word of our server in any way possible
    • Youtube, bumping our threads, posting screenshots etc
  • Currently we're getting 10,000 new players joining a month
    • With only 5-10% of them staying for longer than an hour
Staff Promotions
  • More mods will be promoted
    • 2-4 Applications are being looked into
    • 2 Will likely be promoted

Why not have The Walls be like a skirmish on the regular server, with a command to join?
