Skill is for pyromancer, level 1.
Current skill;
Mana cost - 275
Stamina cost - 110
Cool down (CD) - 7 seconds
Damage - 90 (+1.875 per intellect level)
Other effects - it teleports the player to the target/ location on impact. Ignites target. Range from horizontal 6ish blocks
Suggested change;
Mana cost - 250
Stamina cost - 150
Cool down (CD - 8 seconds
Damage - 65 (+1.875 per intellect level)
Other effects - teleports player to target/ location of impact. Applies root for 1 (+0.05 per charisma level) to the target. Ignites target. Range from horizontal 8-9(2 block increase).
I feel as I have to justify my suggestion to this change so I'll try. At the moment, chaos orb is Pyromancer's bread and butter skill wise (also is the main skill that makes it stand out to other classes). However, the problem with the current skill is that it's range is horrendous as well as acts as a poor gap closer due to the fact it knocks the target back (there is no point having a very high attack damage if you can't get more than 1 hit off the target) and has little to no range. With this change, it would help utilise one of Pyromancer's main strength, it's attack damage (56 damage at level 65 with a diamond axe). This change could also get rid of the need for maim.
