I started playing HC again about a week ago, and looked up a couple of my friends from last map, @GaidenFcous and @Demonxman. Any town that's good enough for them is where I want to be.
Current class and profession? If you are unspecced, what do you plan to choose?
Rogue 10, Crafter 25. I'm not sure I want to stick with Rogue, but if I do, bard or ranger. I'm also considering respeccing caster, but I'm fine with anything. With crafter, I'm leaning farmer or miner, but I don't really care too much one way or the other.
What can you contribute to Altum? Why should you be accepted?
I'm a prolific miner, and I'm not a window licker. I defend my town when it's under attack, and participate in town activities.
Were you in any previous towns? If so, why did you change to Altum?
I was in North Reach last map, but haven't joined a town yet this map.

I don't think there's many people older than me on this server, for what that's worth. >.>

I don't have any pictures of builds, unfortunately. Most of my structures were on a friend's server, which died to a HDD failure. I had a decent house in NR last map though.

I can build, im an experienced MC player ( 4 yrs of playing) and can fight.
Were you in any previous towns? If so, why did you change to Altum? Riften, I changed because they scammed me so now me and my friend are moving to this nice looking town.

I am a level 7 Warrior and going for Paladin, and my profession is crafter and i'm not sure what I will be going for yet.​

I am always willing to help with town projects,and will happily gather materials for the town and its residents. Also I will defend the town if needed, and lastly I will be 100% comitted to the town.​

Sorry guys for the late responses, been busy the past week.

Look for Kekosawr or 0xThoth in-game to be added to the town. We'll give you coords to get there and if thoth's on, he can port you there.

For anyone who wants a SURFACE PLOT, here are the guidelines.

If you would like to claim a plot on the surface, just put your name on a sign in front of it and send me a message here on the forums if I'm not in-game.

Surface Plot Sizes and Prices:​

• 15 x 15 [500c]
  • 15 blocks tall
  • Basement 5 blocks deep
• 20 x 20 [750c]
  • 20 blocks tall
  • Basement 5 blocks deep
• 20 x 20 Corner Plots [1000c]
  • 20 blocks tall
  • 10 blocks deep

You may NOT build any higher than the height limit here, or build basements deeper. Plot fees should be paid to Kekosawr and take a screenshot of it and send it to me in a forum message.

Rules:​

Before you can build a house, READ THIS.​

• You must design it in creative mode first and show it to me or 0xThoth first.
  • This is to make sure your house looks good enough before we let you build it.
  • You may NOT build your house until we've approved it.
  • If it needs improvement, we'll tell you how to fix it.
  • Start a conversation with me or 0xThoth here on the forums to send us your design. Make the title "Surface plot" or such.
    • Take pictures of all 4 sides of your house.
• Make a realistic house. Do NOT make a cube house of your entire region. Cube houses of any kind will automatically be rejected.
• Some Building Guidelines:
  • Walls: should not be flat and boring. Do some interesting designs, have windows and use different kinds of blocks to make it look nice.
  • Roof: should not be flat and square. Slanted roofs are preferred; just make it look interesting, stair blocks and slabs look good.
  • House Layout: You don't have to build a square house just to use up your full plot size. You can use the extra space for designs on the outside, to have a yard, do a balcony, porch, etc. The surface plots are bigger so you have more space to build with!
  • Be creative! Try looking up house designs for inspiration. Don't just build a boring square house to use up your entire plot. Try to use different kinds of blocks, have windows and other features you think would look nice.

You must build your house within a week of claiming the plot. If your house is not fully built, your plot may be resold if someone else really wants to buy it. You may only own 1 surface plot, and do not build anywhere in the town outside of your plot without permission. This includes building outside of your plot above or below ground, connecting it to other plots, etc. Do not ever change anything on the surface of town without permission, Thoth and I worked hard designing it and we don't want people changing stuff.

We're sorry for making you guys wait so long before letting you buy any plots up there, we wanted to fully finish building the surface, but I decided I just wanted to let you guys go ahead and build already since people have been asking for a while now... hah.

Unlike the underground, we're more strict about building guidelines on the surface plots because that's what you see when you enter the town, so that's why people must design their house before they're allowed to build it.
