Bug Bolt and megabolt

I still received a visual lightning bolt, on 1.7.2 with Optifine... only thing is, there's no sound, like as if it's been drastically reduced, so I had to turn the 'Weather' sound to 100% to hear it clearly in combat...

we wont be fixing things for 1.7.2

This will be resolved by 1.8 for everyone.

I figured since 1.8 is coming out soon,(I think) well thank you

I don't have optifine and the sound seems to have been reduced drastically for me too, o well kainzo said once we are in 1.8 they will fix it

I don't think so. I think they made it so that the bolt sound would be drastically reduced, as some players might be complaining about global lightning bolt sounds being loud and annoying.
