BETTER IDEA FOR POTIONS!

Instead of only wizard and alcs being able to use potions , rather they should be able to see the tool tips of the potion where as no one else can. anyone could drink a potion or throw one in the real life scenario, yet they should not know what potion they were using . this would allow for shops and the like to pop up and ass i bigger risk for just anyone but the wiz or alcs to use them. also it would allow poison to has a little better use.

Potions are color coded. Letting anyone who is smart enough to look on the minecraft wiki know what the potion's effect and name is. So this would be a pointless addition.

there are MANY MANY color combos so if you look it up then ya but thats just like researching a potion

There are around 8 potions types (not including base potions) each of which has a distinct color, except weakness and slowness but the difference is noticeable.

He is saying that you cannot tell what potion is which. When you buy it you can either harm or help yourself

Well if you buy one, it doesn't auto drink it for you, so it would still be possible to figure out what potion it was through the color of the liquid in it. If you find its a negative effect potion then you could pay an alchemist to convert it into a splash potion that you could use on an enemy.
