Reason you should be accepted: I have been on this server for the no-whitelist weekend and it's pretty fun. I enjoy the community and would like to become an active member, mainly because my favorite server turned into a huge pile of crap as of recently.
Additional Info: I very much enjoy playing games, mostly RPGs. I have always loved the concept of online gaming, and single player games to me just feel...boring and lonely. This is what draws me to play games like Minecraft, which have massive communities and f0llowing. It feels good to be a part of it all.

Well good news is, I have not found a ban for trolling on my initial look over....

Oh yeah, I remember. That was on mcbans, wasn't it?

I was once banned on a server for xraying, because, well, I was xraying. If I remember correctly, it was the first time I'd ever found out about it, and I thought it was really cool. Little did I know that they had an anti-xray plugin. Heh.

I don't plan on xraying ever again. I realized that it's stupid and ruins the game for everyone. So that's that.

I can't remember exactly when they occured, but I know it near the time when I was new to Minecraft (February 2011, I think).

I think it's also worth nothing that I was recently banned from a Factions and PvP server for "spawn camping". This ban was completely unjustified I think I may have already been unbanned, though I haven't checked.

I also show a ban in Jan 2012 for arguing with an admin, although that appears to have been only a 5 day ban. It shows in the appeal that arguing with an admin was against their rules, were you aware of the rules when you joined that server?

Oh! That was on Savage Realms. I was banned from that server because my friend's stuff was pretty much jipped off of him due to the admins assumably being lazy. I was actually banned permanently, rather than being banned for 5 days, and I felt the need to appeal. So, to answer your question, I was aware of the rules; I read over them thoroughly. But, unfortunately, I'm the type of guy that argues a point and comes across as being a little too "hard around the edges". I try not to do this, but sometimes I get annoyed. :/

Alright here are my concerns. I am not concerned with your x-ray,as it was almost a year ago and you do not have any other bans for that. I am concerned about your "trolling" and arguing with admins.

Am I able to trust you will NOT do the same here? That you will allow the admins/mods to do their jobs and if you have an issue you would take the steps to PE it?

Assure me and I will whitelist you.

Yes. You can trust me to not troll, argue with admins, or anything of the sort. Most of the servers I did those things on were ones that I randomly joined for the first time and only stayed on for about 10 minutes. So I hope it's clear that I won't cause unnecessary trouble on servers that I actually enjoy playing on, especially this one.

By the way, I like how your application process is far more strict than most others. Though it never occurred to me, it seems like this would be the best way to weed out all the unwanted players. Cool.

And, also, I apologize that my application was somewhat halfhearted. I guess the atrocious application process that many other Minecraft servers follow has rubbed off on me. Hah.
