Bug Bard weapon broke

it was my first time playing and I chose bard as a class. I was fighting chickens and i got to close to one and my untuned lyre (which is a lead) leashed the chicken and when I took it off the chicken it was just a normal lead. it lost all of the combat properties of the untuned lyre and now I don't have the signature class weapon and I don't know how to get it back.
