When I went to use my backpack only the smallest one appeared and I believe I have a 36 slot backpack. I am not sure if it is just me or everyone so I thought I should report it. This is on Sanctuary/PVE.

I used this command and can confirm that it works.
Enter /backpack upgrade until you have all slots back.

just checked it again its empty as far as i can see
last night i had like 2 stacks of wood and today its empty

Yeah, I think you can't be online while I do it. The inventory is cached and then it saves it when you log off.
This time, I checked that you were offline and ran the migration again. The items should be there when you get back online.
