There was an incident that Munch is referring too, but I don't think Tim changed the rules completely from it. Certain people were able to get away with, interesting scams to say the least.

Yeah, I mean - most people don't start trading once they are settled in the game. Most of them have already seen a trade happen, and know how it works. Going into trade, "Selling 64 dirt to Kainzo for 200$ confirm?" is different then just showing the item.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know a simple server message that could explain that. Maybe something along the lines of:

"When trading, always remember to state what you're selling, who you're selling to, and for how much."

Then, in either the same message, or a different one, we could have

"Always remember to confirm trades before they happen. Otherwise, scamming is legal."
