Putin is an idiot, but in this case so is the u.s. government

those who don't learn from history are bound to repeat it

side note, putin should really return that stolen superbowl ring

You forget that the US is the worst nation at interfering in different culture countries politics. Remember Korea, Vietnam, Cuba, Iran (Helping the Shah to power), Iraq and Afghanistan. American intervention lead to unecessary high death tolls and years of dictatorship.

The only good thing US did in those wars was helping South Korea, but by saying that, I should also mention that North Korea was left in chaos.

There is yet to be seen decisive evidence that either Assad or the rebels used gas.

I'm glad US has a more coolheaded president now than in the past. Otherwise US might have banzai-charged Syria by now and caused millions of deaths and a regional war.
What? How could Korea be an example of "interfering in different countries politics"? The UN forces were being beat back and South Koreans were being pushed out of their homes. Without the U.S. preventing that the entirety of Korea would have become a communist state.

Also, you seem to be forgetting our successes elsewhere. Panama and its canal, the prevention of a coup in Grenada, air strikes on Libya, aiding the Contras against the Sandinista regime in Nicaragua, saving Kuwait from Iraq in the Gulf War.

Are you kidding? Yet to be seen decisive evidence? Have you been on social media? Have you seen the videos? Someone clearly used gas, and moreover it was Assad's regime.

I think that the United States should stay out of Syria. I don't see the difference between using a chemical weapon and another type of weapon.

Would you rather be killed by a chemical weapon or by a bullet to the head?

I'm pretty sure that during the Korean war, US forces pushed all the way to the border of China before the Chinese entered the war and pushed US back to the south. Remember that US was defending a military rule in South Korea which many years later converted to a democracy.

As for Libya, look at them now. Are they better off now than before the war? Nope.

Obama has yet to present any real evidence to sway UN. Obama says that since Syria haven't signed the treaty to not use chemical weapons they are subject to bombing. I don't hear him talking of bombing Jerusalem or Cairo even though Israel and Egypt haven't signed the no-chemical weapon treaty either.

US seem to learn, no good has ever come with them interfering in the middle-east. The truth is, war on Syria will cause a regional conflict and it will leave Syria in constant civil war between the different tribes and ethnic groups.

If you wanna sacrifice millions just so you can say "Justice is served", then I think your morals are poor.
