I thought likewise but I do not know where to find one. You'll have to grab a .jar file with that specific version.
This does not work. I saved the minecraft 1.1 file then put it into my bin folder, but what I came up with in minecraft was a frozen loading page that said "Done Loading" but never stops loading
done it, dosn't workTo downgrade from a newer version to an older version on windows--
1) Open up your file browser.
2) In the top bar type in %appdata% (Cannot be found through search)
3) Open up .Minecraft
4) Open up the bin file.
5) Replace the .jar file located in Bin with the one you downloaded.
6) Play older version of minecraft!
If you still encounter errors, Erase your entire .minecraft folder and run the minecraft starter to redownload everything (WARNING: This will remove your saved games and screenies so back them up first. After you've redownloaded the .minecraft, repeat the steps above.
