A Plugin being developed for Dungeon rewards.What is Heroblock?
Here are my notes, if somebody wants them.
Square towns - but eventually to any shape you want. So no rings. New system.
Factions??
No more bedrock to sky walls! (banned)
Maximum towns, cities, etc.
4 kingdoms, each control cardinal areas. Nearest shops have a tax, tax money paid to largest kingdom in area.
Town leaders voted into office.
Kingdoms remained, have a skeleton of bedrock. Can be added to, Will be eventually changed to different system.
Nether in 2.8 (1.9)
Will also have "The End" and "Skylands" (boss fight words most likely)
museum maps?
Lore event in two weeks! Hosted by loremasters and admins, will have prizes and miniquests.
Less lag, hopefully!
Shortly after, optimized growth coming back. Gaol= 200 players with 15+ TPS (I don't know what TPS is) - will take time and adjusting.
OS upgrade, custom compile a kernel to get more CPU power.
HC Artwork! Want designs for people to buy and/or download!
Add more to website - can submit things on forums if you wish!

Releasing a FLAT creative map, so pixel art and stuff allowed.
Kainzo and Aph will be gone for 1-2 weeks for Minecon, Thanksgiving.
No booth, would rather spend money on improving HC
Can get a T2, T3 status by entering a drawing, from voting for HC (the prize is the Tier status). Actually, winning adds $20 to your tier, whatever you're previous tier may be. A T|6 winner gets a coin prize.
/hat has returned… whatever that is. For donors.
MobRiding coming back.
/me comes back but only if can manage to code a local version.
New crafter spec, can breed animals.

Anti-camping for EXP implemented.
Lose less EXP on death
Zombie survival server, can't edit world AT ALL. Not in multiverse.
Quests, NPCs. NPCs eventually to be manipulated: vendors/quest givers/guards (examples)
Guards stationed at major cities, attack people who start a fight.
Turn-in quests, ie "give me 5 jack-o'-lanterns." You get EXP
Incorporating Zeal into the "Battlegrounds," so certain areas are PVP=on
Reset every map
Potions, enchanted items available for all. Potions made by crafters, Enchanting, Enchanters.
Enchanting reagents uncertain on how to do.
Couldrons to alchemists
Chainmail created
Dual classing sometime in 1.9, ie WARRIOR+ALCHEMIST
Crafters will get exp for crafting/mining, PVP with players and mobs.
Centralized leader, 2 SICS. Can have extra SICS if choose to.
Town bank account? Probably deposit only.
Outposts can be raided, taken over to give tax benefits to towns
Kain would like to see casinos…

Kingdoms will be considered "Factions," whatever those are.
No-PVP=on for townships, kingdoms
/duel will be implemented. So people can still be attacked, but people have a chance to run away and hide.

Thanks for the condensed notes, Factioned kingdoms definately seem like a good idea. I'm curious what the skeleton of bedrock means.
Basically it allows for player creativity still without forcing ready made structures on the playerWe're thinking of 'build pads' to begin with instead of having fully built castles etc where the kingdoms are located, that way the players that first join the kingdom etc can plan out what they want the main Kingdom buildings to look like instead of needing us to make them up beforehand, that's really all we mean.
Yes but it's going to be re-named the Kingdom referenced in the HTTP is something completely differentWhat I'm still slightly confused about is this: isn't kingdom essentially the next state in the hierarchy or township (only combining towns)? So essentially when we actually upgrde to Kingdom this is already in effect… So isn't this just making things more complicated than necessary?
