    I didnt read all the posts, but I agree with you about the experience orbs, also the npc villages, i feel like minecraft used to be a game that you could interpret on your own, but now we are being forced to think differently about the game because of pre-made villagers/whatever experience orbs...

    i agree, i dont know if you were here on the last map, but there were HG's to every town and after a while people got lazy and never walked anywhere.

    I liked herogates then, but i kinda like it better without them. with them, i barely had to leave my town/sanctum to do anything. now there is more risk and its more exciting/fun. I think I heard somewhere they are going to add herogates for each direction (north,south etc.)
