    The only way to fix this is to create player interdependence via economic/crafting restrictions. It will still happen but it will happen less, because it will be less rewarding.

    Anything that effectually changes gameplay or gives an advantage, including turning monitor brightness all the way up in order to mine without torches, is technically illegal. Read closer and you will see.
