    Yeah, @Turner24 mentioned that to me too. Builds 1243+ will have an option in the options menu for adjustable render speed. I was playing with it and 'Very Fast' is insanely fast. Anyway, play around with it. I kept it default at the slowest setting because faster rendering hurts performance. :/

    This doesn't have any effect in Multiplayer, since all of the map is already kept in RAM. It only makes a difference in Single Player, and not that big of one.

    Suggestion [Suggestion] HC Approved Minimap For Spout Clients

    It's pretty simplistic atm (I am new to graphics related stuff), so it shows no ores, just really basic coloring. It does show some tunnels though. I was planning on adding a server side component so servers could opt to censor stuff, but with the hoopla at bukkit, not sure.

    ALERT Minecraft 1.2.4 - DO NOT UPDATE YET!

    I'd like to use this to say that Spoutcraft has the ability to upgrade and downgrade MC legally, for you, so you can play with older builds. It will be able to downgrade 1.2 to 1.1 if you end up being overeager and upgrading. So no excuse!
