    To clarify, does this mean your inventories on both these servers: (1) Shrine, AND (2) Haven/Ruins?

    If you're talking about it replacing Towns, how would it appeal to non-PvPers? Would Herocraft then become a completely PvP-focused server?

    You can break blocks and pick up items on the Ruins map if you aren't yet whitelisted. You get to Ruins via the Nexus (portals area) on Haven. There's a portal to the nexus just by the spawn pool, which is at 0,0.

    Yeah, reputation again, eh. Similarly, if it feels botched on other servers, people will be less inclined to try it here. If the Heroes plug-in is a good product on other servers, it makes Herocraft look good. But if they have weak product, it weakens the plug-in's rep.

    No, not really. 38 votes for word of mouth vs say 25 for voting/searching - that's about 7:5. What it does show is the importance of community, word of mouth, and reputation. And several people have mentioned coming here after encountering the Heroes plug-in elsewhere. (I did.)

    Word of mouth. I wandered here with a group of players from another server that was pretty much dead. That server had previously run Heroes, so the intent was to check it out at its source.
