not sure how ALL players are getting the modifier, specifically the modifier is executed only on the two players that participated, and there is a check to make sure that the exp loss is only granted to the person who died. The exp loss on death is using Heroes code. And depending on the karma...- gabizou

Technic issues
You can't really run the modpack on an earlier version as 1, this is the only modpack version compatible with 1.5.2. To uninstall it entirely, just force update before logging into minecraft. OR you can just not select optifine when using the ModPack installer.- gabizou

Bug Karma Bug Thread
So, if there is no overtime effect, Karma isn't being granted for the killing on any of the arenas (battlegrounds, /col duel etc.) but after you're back in the normal world and you're in your own house? So it's more so that you can die after the duel because of a status effect?- gabizou
