Mac vs. PC
Windows 7 is more or less Vista done right. Vista's overall design was pretty nice, but its implementation of everything was horribly optimized. I know a few non-7 users (both PC and Mac) who talk about XP like it's the last good Windows system, but I think the only thing XP does better than 7... -

Yup! There's a section in the MC Patcher link from the OP that tells you how modding using the patcher works. I think it's super nifty because you can patch, unpatch, and switch between mod sets without keeping track of extra jars. The list I used for this pack should be saved in... -

This modpack includes a ton of mods that I think really improve online Minecraft play. The included patcher allows you to select and install only the mods you want, and makes switching between sets of mods much easier. I also tossed in a set of customized Dokucraft texture packs. Enjoy! ;)...
