    You'll have to do the same thing each time you launch. The way Technic Launcher works is that Optifine loads after such that higher texturepacks seem to break the client unless it's been refreshed.

    Before you start the mod pack through the launcher, can you go to the gear at the top right and select "Show Console" then launch the modpack and log into HC as you usually do, then copy the entire console from the start to the end and pastebin it here. (USE PASTEBIN.COM PLEASE)
