    That's the magic launcher. This thread is intended to be used with the Minecraft Launcher or Technic Launcher.

    No. You can't throw optifine in the mods folder when using the Minecraft Launcher.

    DO NOT TRY TO USE HEROMOD! IT IS NOT UPDATED! Did you add the JVM arguments like instructed? Did you run the minecraftforgeinstaller and then the liteloader installer AND THEN insert the optifine jar like the instructions say and how the video shows?
