    Oh, if it's death chest I can explain that. Death chests won't spawn on: Air (Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. It's inconsistent) non full blocks (Slabs, stairs sometimes, snow layers) Liquids tall/short grass It's an issue with deathchest, sadly there's nothing we can do except hope...

    How did you die, were you in the air, was your inventory full? I know with a full inventory, deathchest can void hotbars/armor since it prioritizes inventory first.
