It has come to my attention that, for the third year running, the good old enchanter bug is still going strong. Every 5 or 10 enchants at level 3, the enchanting table will no longer respond to level 3 enchants. I'm forced to waste experience on a level 1 or 2 enchant to restore level 3 enchants. It is extremely inconvenient, as I have to fill half my inventory with junk tools that I can enchant. [That way I'm only wasting my exp instead of diamond pickaxes] It's completely random, however extremely easy to replicate, so you may have to enchant 1-4 inventories full before encountering it. Or you could potentially have it break on you first try.

Bug Enchanter lvl 3 enchants

This is the effect of turning off the ability to enchant certain items like: protection, flame, etc. not really a bug just an issue we have to get around due to the inability to enchant these items
How about removing exp drain from lvl 1 and 2 enchants? Or lower is drastically so you don't delevel youself making half an inventory of god picks? No one actually uses or needs lvl 1 - 2 enchants so I doubt anyone is going to just mass enchant lvl 2 for free...

All part of the system, there would be no way you can always make god picks!!
I am also an enchanter. have to re lvl to keep going, just think if it was as per vanilla and you loose multiple lvls for one enchant versus some exp per enchant.
I am not making this statement as staff, but as a community player.
@Kainzo and the Dev's are the admin's that have set up this system for your enjoyment of playing HC, I am just trying to explain the config and difficulty to set it and make it work!
