    Adding onto Epi's case, I feel like it would be viable to consider using Minecraft's 1.9+ attack cooldown system and it shouldn't take much from the fast-paced combat either due to the other options of dealing damage via skills. Incorporating swing attack cooldowns could also help out classes...
