This blew my mind

So I was just walking around bastion with some friends and i come across this weird block. It was like half of the block was gone but it was in a triangle form and i could see through it. I have a screenshot of it before it went away.

I get this all the time, except it is usually large areas and then they suddenly populate with the proper blocks.

Kind of freaky.
