Resolved Stone Pickaxe vs Iron Sword

I'm a level 21 warrior, unspecced. Sometimes when I attack mobs, I hit as low as 9 damage against them with an iron sword. However, when I hit mobs with a stone pickaxe, I hit them for 18 damage every time. Is this intended?

Pick's are supposed to do 20 and iron swords for warrior's are supposed to do 55.

Neither are true for me. I usually do 36 but as low as 6 it seems with the iron sword. The pick always does 18 damage. Hmm...

I'll upload a video later. It's with any mob really. The only thing I can think of is maybe spout is displaying the damage i'm inflicting incorrectly? Otherwise, what I'm saying is true.

OK, so I figured out why I had 12 and 6 damage sometimes. It's the bleed effect from the /skill strike that I use as a warrior. However, I do still always hit 36 with my iron sword, and I do always hit 18 with the stone pickaxe.
