You guys are all soooo lucky....
I'm sitting here on my crappy laptop with a intel: Centrino Prossessor...

All of you have like 3 monitors each on a really good PC with amazing graphics cards.

I'm jealous :(

I'll pass on showing what I have now, but when I get my new laptop soon (I do a lot of travelling and it'll be for Uni next year etc), I'll show that.

I don't wanna bother taking new pics, but here one I have already..

Inside the Silverstone TJ10 is a Q9650 oc'd to 3.8GHz, 8GB DDR2 Mushkin Ascents, GTX285, Auzentech Forte 7.1, Intel Gigabit CT, on a P5Q Pro mobo, supplied by a Corsair TX850.
Using 5x 640GB WD Blacks - 1 for an OS partition, 1 for a Programs partition, 1 for data partitions, 1 for gaming partitions, 1 for more data/archive partitions and a frag partition = I/O FTW!!

There's a Samsung T240 (24") display connected.
Oh and a Logitech G51 speaker set.

I built it and its sister computer at the same time.

Hey guys! I'm currently saving up for a new computer and my budget is $1800-$2000(I've gotten $500 so far!) Since everyone here is talking about their computer and stuff, I assumed this would be a good place to ask for some advice. Here are the parts I'm gonna buy so far:

Corsair Obsidian 650D Case -$215
Intel Core i5 2500K-$215
ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Motherboard-$169
FSP Aurum Series 750W Modular Power Supply - $139
Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001 - $145
Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 -$59
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 570 1280MB Overclocked V2 - $359 (Should I get the 560Ti?)
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64bit with SP1 OEM - $129

I wanna know what you guys think? This is a list so far. Its not finished and nothing is finalized yet. I just wanna know your opinion, should I add something else? Should I replace one thing for another? All feedback is welcome.

Thanks!

Seems like a beast setup you have there, I' m saving up for a laptop/pc too with the same budget (but saved $1.1 already :p) which will be for the upcoming Guild Wars 2. My choice for a laptop though is due to me travelling a lot, the place I'm staying at is with housemates and not my immediate family where there's how many pc's there (that are average normal house use pc's and that I'll be going to Uni next year.

1 moniter is enough for me, rather save energy. Lol. To me it is pointless to have more than one since I can get all I need on 1 computer.
