Should I bother making a HeroCraft ModPack Installer?

Alright, so I'm back to playing HeroCraft and I know a lot of users don't know how to install mods very well, usually new ones.
So, I was thinking about just making a installer so it can be done in 1 quick click.
Good idea? Bad idea?
Why or why not?

I'd update it for the newest version I can.
I think the first version is going to be windows only because I like the C# langauge better than java
But I'll make one for all operating systems in due time if people like it.

I have the GUI Finished.
Now I just have to make the backend.
The project should be done by tonight. (Lets cross our fingers)
