Minecraft 1.8

Hello all last night i updated my minecraft to 1.8 and can't log in to HC anymore.
How can i fix this?

Delete your minecraft.jar file in [App data]-[Roaming]-[minecraft]-[bin], the just run minecraft and when it asks for an update, decline it.

The above won't work since that will still give you 1.8 now it is out. What you need to do to be able to play on the Main Server (It's on 1.7). Four simple steps.

1)Get your hand on a 1.7 jar.

2) Go into .minecraft file then bin and remove the minecraft jar.

3)Insert the 1.7 minecraft jar into the bin folder.

4) Run minecraft without updating.
