I had been personally asked by Kainzo to design some default skins for each upcoming profession. This doesn't mean that you are required to use such skins, but it's merely an option should you want to change your skin to suit your class.
If you wish to help out, feel free to pitch in what you can! They shall be credited as "[username] Edition Skins"!
The default class skins will be uploaded as I finish them
If you wish to have your skin personalized, please post below! Either myself or other skinners will gladly edit the skin for you.
1) MCSkinEdit is a very useful program for skinning, due to the template and the interactive 3D Preview that it provides. However, due to it being a third-party program, I highly suggest scanning your download before using it. Just to be safe.
2) When adding Noise using MCSkinEdit as a finishing touch, I personally find that a noise level of 20 and below works nicely. Noise level 30 at maximum. Keep a clean copy of the skin in case you want to make changes to it in the future.
3) If you need a basic template to start with, I have several here: Basic Male, Pale Male, Basic Female, Pale Female, Tanned Female, Dark Female, Winged Female, Zombie Female. I may add more to the list if need be...
4) Don't forget about the BottomHead, TopBody, BottomBody, TopLeg, LeftLeg, and LeftARm areas! These areas can help determine whether or not your character actually looks like he/she has long hair, a long coat, a cape, etc.
5) The Hat area can be used for more than just simple hats. They can be used to help with ears, snouts, halos, wide-brimmed hats, and crazy hair, too!
6) Stumped for design ideas? The internet is your friend! Use an image search to browse for useful pictures. (Use a Safe Filter, unless you're like that...)
