Hey Greg! This was posted in another thread regarding updating. It's a link to minecraft 1.8 with the hero approved mod pack (Rei's minimap, Improved chat, optifine(?)). Enjoy!

It does not work, i put it in my Bin and start the game, it loads to about 96% says Done loading but doesn't move, i've reset the game, waited but nothing

You need to rename the .jar from "minecrafthero" to "minecraft" if you haven't already. That usually solves the problem.
