extra website ads?

not sure if this is a big deal or not but has anyone els today been geting alot more website ads and pop up's/ intrusion attempts( web attacks). not sure if its just Norton being Norton but i have been getting web attack reports and warnings form the site now.

ps. sorry if this is in the wrong area not sure what this would be under.

UPDATE: False alarm i had a virus in firefox some people help me find and remove it :)
