Haven't tested further yet as i was afraid to, but just enchanted shovel, lost three levels of experience instead of the 120 exp it used to take, logged and relogged and it restored all three levels and only took a bar. Going to try again but it appears the bug just shows you losing more levels, i'm worried if i take off two enchants it'll not restore the first, but going to try it anyway for science!
