Do you keep xp when changing classes?

No.

That being said, if you change back to your original class, you will have the same EXP.

eg:
I am a level 28 Wizard but decide to try out Necromancer. I switch and I become a level 1 Necromancer.
I decide I like Wizard better, so I switch back, and I am a level 28 Wizard again.
Keep in mind that each switch costs 250c!
