How much damage does the tools do in comparrison to themselves and the familiar Stone and Iron swords?

We need a wiki page for this >.>

I'm interested in what the Scythe does

A fix needs to be made to the Dragoon Lance. It was advertised that they are doing 7 damage a swing. But from testing vs. Zombies and Skellys I see that they are only doing 5 damage per swing.

Zombie = 30 Health / took me 5 swings
Skelly = 18 Health / took me 4 swings

:( come on man show the Dragoons some love. Also, stoneskin fix please!

I believe you are tuning damage to make these diamond weapons on par with each other i'm guessing?
I'm also guessing they will still be knocked down a peg or two against certain class or deals more damage toward other types of classes. If so, I welcome these changes, and I really like the addition of scythe!

In the updates casters are ment to have high damage,.
Now I'm pretty sure everyone else has higher damage :L

A likely fix, since projectiles travel unpredictably on minecraft (with latency being a pain and such), would be for the mana cost to be greatly reduced as well as cooldown so spells act like arrows and can be somewhat spammed but not too heavily.

I hope that casters will becomes major nuker in the future, more high end aoe damage. Right now it's almost useless for them to carry around a melee weapon and their spells are very lacking in damage or accuracy to be able to hit people during peak time.

Yeah, When i was attacked i used like 20 fireballs to hit like 4 times, and i can only shoot 4 times before my mana runs out:/

It's doing the correct damage - if anything it will be doing less across the broad when we tweak.

leveling up will increase your spells damage - we're working on this.

I look forward to being able to use my diamond hoe/scythe I'm telling you the grind to 50 with a wooden sword was NOT fun.

However the scaling damage with level sounds nice!

Also please note that we wont be super scaling damage just because its DIAMOND tier, Paladins will cap out at X damage, but rogues will be much higher etc.

Yes, Kain. Durability. Countless trees lost their lives on my grind to 50.

A little more damage would be nice, and I LOVE the idea of bonuses for binding skills to certain items. Although, casting fireballs from a scythe would be pretty cool.
