Greetings Marius,
The majority of our communication is done via IRC. You can find our public development channel @ esper.net /join #Heroes .

There are several things that you can do in the mean time that will help your chances and increase your knowledge.
1) Look up how to create a bukkit plugin. (this should just really be a refresher)
2) Set up git / eclipse (or whatever IDE you're familiar with)
3) Create a simple bukkit plugin and ensure it loads properly

The majority and arguably easiest of our tasks is skill creation. Though it really depends on what skills you want to design and what they do.

Looking forward to seeing you around!
