Bounty System?

I just wanted to see if anyone here knows how /bounty locate works. Bounty hunting and sneaking up on people is one of my favorite things to do in any online game. From the looks of it, /bounty locate makes your compass point towards your target, but mine doesn't seem to work. Do I have to be within a certain distance of the player before the compass works? Or does the bounty system not even use the in-game compass? Thanks in advance!

/bounty accept # ( To accept a Bounty )
/bounty locate will show you the coordinates, within I believe, a 200 radius of the user.

Thats not what I get when I try. The message I receive is:
"Compass will now point near target."
Do I need to install something to get the plugin to work? I haven't installed anything for this server, if that is the case.

Use /bounty locate - not /locate (thats another command that wont be used)
