Suggestion Alchemist: TransmuteOre Change

At level 40, an Alchemist can use the skill TransmuteOre to turn Iron materials into a Gold ingot. This may have been quite useful for Alchemists on Bastion when Gold actually had value, but now is nearly obsolete. I suggest that this be changed to something else that would have had the same value as Gold did last map. The problem is that I don't know what a good replacement would be, but I definitely think it should be replaced with something. Any suggestions for a suggestion?
