Reason for ban: do not advertise servers or ts3's on Herocraft - violation of EULA/TOS
Your story:
I'm generally a very good guy and I have a lot of friends here that I've made over the year(s). I actually play here and enjoy spending my time within the macro communities of Herocraft. (Referring to the various townships). I was posting about our townships' well known (to staff) private server in a private chat channel that is password protected. We use this server for constructive purposes only and I do not make a dime for hosting it for our Kingdom's usage. It is purely for fun/creative purposes which we pour forth into the Herocraft Multiverse, many admins, founders, and other staff have played there with us. My intent was not to break any part of Rule #3, as I understand I was not supposed to post anything like that in public chat channels on the herocraftonline service. I was wrong and I am sorry. Again, I just enjoy spending my time here with the community and I would hate to be split from them after they have shown such dedication to our purpose and cause which is to better Herocraft Online.
As to the other part of the ban, we were having issues keeping people out of chat channels on Herocraft's TS3 server. I guess that was a fault of my own, I just do not like to be trolled by people and harassed on VOIP. I take it very personally so I decided to host a private TS3 for the kingdom where only people we talk to could be given the information so we do not have to deal with those issues. I apologize for this. I realize now that it shouldn't have been a problem if I had changed the pw then just kicked him from the channel. However, this isn't the only time this has happened, and it doesn't only happen in my channels when I'm playing. Even good people here have player vs player political enemies and I'd rather not take that into voice chat where we feel more personal.
I believe that the reason for this decision was that I was taking away from Herocraft's Online populace (or figuratively speaking diminishing their image) but in fact was not aimed towards this end. I will tell everyone to keep using Herocraft's Online service as their primary method of communication since I am not allowed to have an alternative method. I am very sorry if this was seen as offensive, I just like to play minecraft in peace and I think most of us do not like being harrassed, threatened, or shown otherwise objectionable behavior in a VOIP program where people are allowed to act like douche bags just because they can. Again, I understand this was allowed partially through error of my own. This was my bad.
I'd like to think that this was a lesson hard learned and that I may be unbanned in a soon(ish)™ amount of time. I was very confused when this happened. I felt as if you might have banned me for trying to advertise, but the people I mentioned this stuff to have been on that server since Zeal and we've brought a lot of healthy construction projects to Herocraft with stuff we've made in creative mode. Many people have told me through TS3 and on Herocraft's in game chat about their private servers and private TS3's such as TC's, Erebos', Amgroma's, and a handful of others. I firmly believe that we did not intend to diminish or lower the standards of Herocraft and that all we have done was fully constructive and healthy for the server. I will not mention anything like this ever again inside the Herocraft TS3, Forums, or Ingame. I am sorry for any damages I may have rendered to Herocraft and assume all responsibility thereof.
EDIT:
As requested by my townies, they asked me to include an image of things we've built on the Private server then recreated here on Herocraft. A great example of this is the progress we've made towards our new kingdom gate, the Great Sword of XD. They thought it might be a good idea to show some of the work we've done has not gone unnoticed. It's already ingame.
In the end, we're just a bunch of gamers.
