Is there something wrong with trying to fix heroes after it's been down for over a month (due to bukkit, as I later found out), causing that server to begin dying off. Once I found out that it was bukkit to blame, and not simply a lack of activity on the hero devs' part, I abandoned hope at updating it myself.
also, it was iconicraft (that same server) that I was temp-banned on. I'll link to the ban post if it's still up, but here's the story: A friend and myself were setting up a shop near spawn (totally legal). Next to the site we had chosen was the smaller shop of a friend by the name of sheado. Due to personal complications in his life, he quit the server- after officially quitting, he came back online a few times. During one of the "returning" episodes, I asked him if I could level his old shop (which was no longer in use even to sell goods) to make room for other structures. He gladly gave permission. However, the host, Pacmanjones, hadn't been online at the time- when he noticed that sheado's shop was gone, he found my name all over the place, and thought I had griefed it for some reason. I clarified what had actually happened on our forums, and was unbanned later.
okay, so I looked, and the post is no longer up. However, Shaderuler, our (at the time) only mod, will vouch for me, as he was the one that unbanned me. Any of the other players would probably support me as well, including drewdawg95, FeileCaruth, and MikeWTF.
