wizard level 20 port skill

the description of this particular skill states that i will port myself and nearby party members to the location specified, however when i try to port myself and nearby party members it does not work,
i merely end up porting myself to spawn.

im not sure if this is intentional and the description is incorrect or it is a bug?

Tried to cast Hellgate today - once it only took one memberof my party (out of 4) later on it tp'd me to dhx and my friends to spawn then later on it consumed 2 enderpearls leaving me with 4 and spammed me with "you need 6 pearls to cast hellgate". This seems to be happening intermittently.

no reason. the code doesn't support the claim unfortunately. It stores the caster location then teleports everyone in the party if they are within the radius.

that's the issue. If the code doesn't support it then it's bukkit not detecting ranges properly and nothing I can do about it.

In regard to this - I tried again today with @Neotetro he got ported to spawn - I was ported to my /skill mark

uhh... it doesn't even have a method to pull your mark location. Were you in the nether when you did this?

Here's how it works -> If you login Hellgate to nether -
it stores your cast location on your character.

if you disconnect you lose the effect, and if you re-use the skill without the effect you get teleported to spawn. So basically if you teleport with anyone and they reconnect, they'll get teleported back to spawn when you re-use the skill.

We can change this up so it always teleports players back to the spawn of each world, but the initial idea was to save the location.

Ok I can see what you are saying there and that makes sense -

Idk whether it was my mark location but it was pretty much the same spot - basically earlier today I took my town members to the nether (from the same room my mark is in) - I then recalled out and got asked by Neotetro for a nether port - I walked to the Trading district he gave me the pearls - then I cast hellgate - He got teleported to spawn - I got teleported to (my mark location) which happened to be the last place that I'd cast hellgate (could it have gotten confused there?)

possible. I think I'm going to change it up so that it always pulls you back to the spawn of the world. when nethergating to/from nether.

Whilst this sounds easier would it be possible to create a hellgate mark? Allowing necromancers to 'open a hellgate' into their strongholds? - the main spawn is pretty destroyed and you have to walk 500 odd blocks to get to anywhere interesting :p but a /skill hellmark for necromancers would be awesome! and might change it getting confused? (for initial port have the hellmark set as what spawn is?)

As for porting out - spawn works a dream - access to nexus and what not

You aren't making sense. if a wizards uses hellgate on you twice, if a wizard uses port on you after hellgate? what are you trying to do? Port doesn't pull locations from Hellgate and Hellgate doesn't pull your mark location. Neither of them support either of these.

OK so

Step 1. Hellgate with party to nether
Step 2. Discover I forgot redstone
Step 3. Ask wizard to port me out
Step 4. Set up another hellgate
Step 5. Cast said hellgate
Step 6. get sent to where I last cast hellgate (instead of to the nether)

funny thing actually, the instance i talked about with me not being able to port someone with me, was when we were both in the nether. i got ported to spawn, they stayed in the nether.

i was then able to groupport them out of the nether from spawn.
